Local Events You Can Enjoy This Holiday Season

December is here… 

While most people may be out traveling, there are still other things you can visit and enjoy if you are staying in South Carolina.

Dec 1-31	Goose Creek	Lights on Taggert Watch Local families brighten the holiday season with over 46,000 lights. Plus all proceeds are donated to a local charity.
Dec 7	Charleston	Reindeer Run Take part in the 5K run and walk, pet-friendly event that is for the benefit of MUSC Shawn Jenkins Children’s Hospital and the Charitable Society of Charleston.
Dec 7	Charleston	Mt Pleasant Holiday Farmers Market and Craft Show Shops locally grown produce, homemade goodies and craft while your kids enjoy activities and live entertainment.
Dec 8	Charleston	Christmas Pop Up Shop Support small business owners by choosing them for your Christmas gifts. Spend your afternoon with local business owners who will be showcasing their amazing products just in time for the holiday. Aside from vendors, you can also enjoy food trucks , jumping castle , cotton candy, arts and crafts and music by DJ Jazzy!
Dec 8	Charleston	Mount Pleasant Christmas Light Parade Spend a magical evening with your special someone while enjoying the beauty of more than 100 floats, tree lighting and fireworks.
Dec 14	Summerville	PJs with Santa Grab your Christmas pajamas and join the Junior Service League of Summerville as they spend their third annual PJs With Santa! Let your children have the opportunity to whisper their wishes to Santa while you capture the moment on your cameras.
Dec 14	Charleston	Holiday Parade of Boats Decorate your boat with lights or just watch and enjoy a number of boats light up your evening.
Dec 14	Summerville	Summers Corner Fur La La Have your furry friend join in the fun of the holidays with the first ever Summers Corner Fur La La – a pet parade and community gathering for the whole family!
Dec 14	Charleston	Lowcountry Hoedown Enjoy bluegrass music topped with samples of bourbon and local restaurants, artisan food vendors. Plus portion of proceeds will benefit The Harbor Entrepreneur Center.
Dec 14	Summerville	Kickin’ Chicken Presents Breakfast with Santa Have your kids enjoy a chit chat with Santa over chicken & waffles.  All proceeds go to Camp Happy Days & The Charleston Miracle League.
Dec 31	Charleston	Midnight at the Rice Mill Welcome 2020 at the best waterfront New Year’s Eve party in Charleston, South Carolina! Ring in the New Year at the Historic Rice Mill overlooking the Ashley River and enjoy an upscale, celebratory affair. Black-tie attire is encouraged.
Dec 31	Charleston	Nick Price Foundation New Year’s Eve Party! Spend your evening at the  New Year’s Eve Party you don’t want to miss! Have fun and dance with the live band and enjoy the Open Bar with Top Shelf Liquor, Heavy Hors D’oeuvres and Champagne Toast. And do not forget to watch the balloon drop at midnight at one of the most beautiful historic venues in Charleston.
