Attorney Elliotte Quinn Elected to South Carolina CAI Board of Directors
Steinberg Law Firm attorney Elliotte Quinn was recently elected to the Board of Directors of the South Carolina chapter of the Community Associations Institute. A long-time active member of the organization, Elliotte is honored to be entrusted with guiding the state chapter of this national organization focused on education and advocacy for condominiums, homeowners’ associations, and professional community association managers. As a board member, Elliotte hopes to continue the growth of the organization in South Carolina and expand the networking and educational opportunities for HOA board members and community managers.
Elliotte focuses his legal practice on construction defects. He represents HOAs, condo associations, and homeowners in pursuing compensation for defective construction. Elliotte has handled claims covering everything from multimillion-dollar water intrusion problems to HVAC systems failing to crumbling HOA roads. Elliotte has particular experience handling complex claims involving numerous defendants, defects, and properties, design defects, problems with workmanship and/or the systems or materials used on the project that resulted in a part of the building or structure to fail, resulting in damages to people, property or both.
Elliotte has been practicing law in South Carolina for over nine years. Prior to joining the Steinberg Law Firm, he defended developers and contractors against defective construction claims. He now uses that experience to help his clients avoid the obstacles builders try to use to delay or minimize construction defect claims.
