Steinberg Law Firm’s Ben Akery Chips In for Healing Farms

Steinberg Attorney Ben Akery Sponsors NonProfit Event

As an active advocate for Healing Farms, Steinberg Attorney Ben Akery invites you to Chip In for the 2nd Annual Healing Farms Charity Golf Tournament on Friday, October 13th.

The Healing Farm organizations aims to provide social and volunteer opportunities, summer camps, & group gatherings to students that have developmental disabilities in the local area. These gatherings and events cultivate communication skills and experience to help these students transition from a school environment to the local community workforce with ease.

Steinberg Attorney Ben Akery has been working with Healing Farms for more than a year as an ambassador on events like The Annual Walk & Roll Event and has become passionate about serving Charleston & its surrounding districts.  Akery is pleased to be able to work on charitable events like these that directly fund the Healing Farms and in turn benefit the local community.

Want to Chip In?

The Chip in Golf Tournament will be held at The Links at Stono Ferry this Friday. The event is open to all, but there are only 144 slots to register, so you better hurry! This Captain’s Choice styled tournament will include 18 holes, range balls, a cart, and a catered barbecue lunch with drinks, which will also be sponsored by The Steinberg Law Firm.

Each team will be comprised of four players during the event and will have plenty of time to socialize with other teams, sponsors, & Healing Farm members – all with multiple opportunities to win prizes along the way! Our firm has employees participating on two of the registered teams that would love to chat with you during the event.

Feeling Sweet & Spicy? One of the ways Healing Farms is able to fund their program is through the ongoing sale of their canned salsa and baked goods. Tis’ the season of gifts and giving!
