Attorney Catherine D. Meehan Named Partner

The Steinberg Law Firm is pleased to announce Attorney Catherine “Catie” Meehan as the newest partner at the firm. Catie is the first female partner in the firm’s history and will continue to represent clients in workers’ compensation and personal injury cases out of the Summerville office.

Since coming to work for the Steinberg Law Firm in 2013, Catie has provided excellent care and consideration to her clients and cases. She is compassionate when dealing with her injured clients and their families, as she knows firsthand what they are going through after working for three years as a registered nurse (RN) at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC). She obtained her Juris Doctor from the Charleston School of Law where she graduated magna cum laude. Her combined knowledge of medicine and the law helps her fight for what her injured clients and their families deserve.

Catie has received numerous honors and prestigious awards in the legal field, such as the Top 40 Under 40 award from the National Trial Lawyers Association and the Rising Star award from Super Lawyers four years in a row (2018, 2019, 2020, 2021). Her work and time outside of the legal industry is notable, as she currently serves on the Board of Directors for Kids’ Chance of South Carolina and volunteers time with the Junior League of Charleston.
