The Steinberg Law Firm Begins Accepting Applications for the 2021 Community Fund
The Steinberg Law Firm has a history of respect, dedication, and commitment to our community-at-large. As such, we are pleased to announce that we are once again partnering with local non-profit organizations for 2021 through our staff’s Community Fund Program.
At the Steinberg Law Firm, we understand that our staff can effectuate change on an individualized and systemic level. Beyond our work with injury victims, we continue to foster a sense of responsibility and genuine concern for the community we serve. We remain committed to advancing programs that enhance the lives of those who have historically been underserved.
For the past five years, Steinberg Law Firm has successfully partnered with various non-profit organizations and Title 1 schools. We understand the need to continue and expand upon our ongoing efforts of creating opportunities for the betterment of our community. The Steinberg Law Firm encourages and supports all of our staff members in their volunteer efforts and financial contributions toward various organizations through the Steinberg Law Community Fund Program.
Past recipients of the Steinberg Law Community Fund Program include the Vantage Point Foundation, the YWCA of Greater Charleston, The Navigation Center of Charleston, Field to Families’ of Moncks Corner, Lowcountry Orphan Relief, Lowcountry Youth Services, Charleston Area Therapeutic Riding, Clap Your Hands, Helping and Lending Outreach, and Charleston Area Senior Citizens’ Services, Inc.
We are delighted to maintain a relationship with and support these influential and diverse community organizations.
We are proud to announce that the application process for our 2021 Community Fund program is now open. The Steinberg Law Firm Community Fund program accepts submissions all year, with a cut-off date of June 15. Selected recipients will receive a one-time grant ranging from $200 to $2500, to be awarded in August of this year.
The 2021 submissions must focus on literacy, youth or women’s welfare, health care, workforce development, veterans, or education. To apply, an organization must be a qualifying non-profit and be recognized by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) as a 501(3)c public charity. Moreover, the organization must not be a lobbying firm or political organization, and it must be based in South Carolina.
